#onlyJoy in Alexander McQueen

The last few weeks have been filled with enormous levels of #joy. As I stated in this week’s Reflection piece, we just celebrated the marriage of one of my bonus daughters, and as I write this, we are at the precipice of the holiday season. Lots to smile about!

I am traveling more than ever again for work and one of my priorities is packing light with pieces that are able to transition while moving through dense itineraries. The less I have to carry and check at the airport, the better.

This Zodiac print, off-the-shoulder pleated Alexander McQueen A-line dress has been a wonderful add. (A solid color is still available here). I needed an elegant daytime look that would seamlessly transition into a sophisticated feel for evening cocktails on a quick overnight trip to NYC. The temperature in the northeast was unseasonably warm so the dress was the perfect weight and the Alexander McQueen Leather corset belt ( previously seen in this 2019 post!) adds structure and drama while further elevating the artistic aesthetic of the Zodiac print. I added a cascading Vera Wang pearl necklace to compliment the romantic off-the-shoulder feel and my yellow satin Amina Muaddi Rosie Crystal Bow Halter Pumps - which have become a favorite workhorse shoe this season!. I think they add the perfect pop of color as well.

I am carrying a black Fendi paintbrush bag and wearing my beloved pearl ring that belonged to my mother.

The holiday task lists are ever growing and the clock is ticking. Hopefully, I will carve some time to fish and play golf soon. How is your week going?

Wishing you the best always, with #onlyJoy :)
