So close....

I was very grateful for your feedback last week welcoming back the Photo Stories/Fashion tags portion of this blog. With all that we’ve endured these last 13 months, I wasn’t entirely sure if this was something that would be embraced or as more “noise” in the stratosphere. Thank you for your encouraging words and emails!

So here we are with another look live from Basalt featuring a soft and smooth textured knit red asymmetrical Jasper Skirt by A.L.C which has a flowing A-line cut and side slit paired with a Winnie Crop Knit Camisole also by A.L.C layered over a Dries Van Noten Floral-print stretch-jersey turtleneck top.

I found the beautiful burgundy red suede Jimmy Choo Mules while FaceTiming with a friend who was shopping at Mitchells in Westport, Connecticut while we were talking. During our chat, she held up this pair of shoes from the sale rack and said “I think these are your size!”. well, You know how I love a great bargain! Thankfully, the store was so accommodating and shipped me a pair and I absolutely love them.

I kept my accessories to a minimum because I did not want to distract from the off-white Bottega Veneta chain pouch. This season, Bottega Veneta's Daniel Lee added a chunky chain strap to the already iconic 'Pouch' clutch which makes this bag such a statement piece. Made in Italy from supple leather, it's artfully gathered and securely fastens with a magnetic closure at the top.

To that end, I added only a pair of Tiffany HardWare Tripple drop earrings in 18K gold to pull from the chain in the pouch and my black Hermes watch.

Sending you love, and #onlyjoy as always.

XO

Kathleen.
