This week was jam packed with work and lots of deadlines but went surprisingly smoother than I expected. I have some personal Spring projects that I hope to tackle this weekend and would love to get a few holes of golf in.
For today’s look, I am wearing the tan Ralph Lauren Vivien black label leather blazer (featured very recently: here) with a Black Silk Organza Wei Tank Top by The Row over a Majestic Paris (for Neiman Marcus) black sleeveless turtleneck. The outer layer by The Row features a long billowing tail of black organza that here I tied at the bottom to flow beautifully down to the knee and creates a pretty fabulous extra layer to pull it all together
I’ve paired these with embellished camo print cargo pants that I found on a sale rack on a recent trip and my 100 Leather Mules by Gianvito Rossi. I couldn’t locate the exact pants I’m wearing to tag here but I did come across these which I think would also go well! As for jewelry, I am wearing my usual statement pieces along with a Tiffany HardWear wrap bracelet given to me by one of my most dearest, and precious loved ones.
I’m carrying a Gucci limited edition for Unicef ‘Snowman in Africa’ medium Joy Boston bag. This 2009 collection was inspired by Snowman in Africa, the sequel to the best-selling children’s book Snowman in Paradise by Michael Roberts and 100% of the proceeds benefited the United Nations Children’s Fund. The collection featured adorable symbolic charms that represented different characters from the book and I use as a key ring or add on charms to any accessory. It’s marvelous that this collabroation raised almost $7 million to support UNICEF’s efforts in education, healthcare, protection, and clean water. And of course I needed to pair it with a US Open scarf given to me a few years ago by the United States Tennis Association to remind me of all of the good the USTA Foundation does to reach under resourced children right here in the United States.
Pretty inspiring, isn’t it?
Have a great weekend!
