Black is back!

I’ve always said, and still believe that style and fashion can be found in any closet, store, art gallery film, etc. Sometimes, I find my most favored treasures in flea markets, and little boutiques in the places that I visit. So, it should be no surprise that I fell in love with this bespoke one shoulder black cocktail dress for a few reasons. First, the detailing along the front panel and down the sleeve of the dress is so intricate and unique. It breaks up the black and gives the dress quite a bit of movement. Secondly, it’s asymmetrical top and the cut that just slightly tapers into an A-line ads originality while flattering to the silhouette. Finally, It is so original and versatile …I can just as easily wear this with leggings or leather pants for an edgy look.

Today, I am pairing it with my black suede Carolina Herrera over the knee sandal and a necklace that I fashioned out of Gucci gift ribbon wrapped around my neck with an adorable beaded beetle charm. Keeping this look sleek and simple today keeps the focus on the gorgeous detailing of the dress and its fabulous lines.

I can’t wait to style this dress with completely different accessories for more varied looks. Any ideas?
