Happy 2018 to you all. The holiday break was extraordinary largely because of the time I spent with my family and friends, but also for the time to reflect on the year we closed the books on, and the chance to recharge for the embarkation of a fresh year.
For winter events, I love combining color, texture and - of course the unexpected. My love for this pleated teal silk taffeta Dries Van Noten apron (yes, apron!) with light blue embroidery was immediate. It is both opulent and unique and I am wearing it with a Majestic sleeveless back turtleneck from Neiman Marcus and black distressed Frame jeans. The dark brown cropped mink vest by Oscar De La Renta provides warmth and flavor!
For accessories, I'm wearing a magnificent Tobar the Elephant belt and buckle by Barry Kieselstein-Kord and my burgundy open toe booties by Miu Miu . Also, I'm carrying a burgundy Rebecca Minkoff clutch that's half calk skin, half leather.
Looking forward to seeing some of your winter looks! Post your favorites below!
