Making the ordinary extraordinary

The wonderful thing about fashion is that you can express yourself creatively anywhere, anytime. I found these adorable pins (made by a company called Out of Print) while shopping on vacation and had to incorporate them to my outfit. Out Of Print donates a portion of each sale to fund literacy programs and book donations to communities in need. After deliberating about using them as colorful cufflinks, I opted to pin them to my crisp white cotton shirt by Anne Fontaine. It made perfect sense to wear my chamomile embroidered jeans by Bliss and Mischief and white Tretorn sneakers (in collaboration with JCrew). And, to me what makes this entire look most extraordinary is the floating Tiffany heart necklace by Elsa Peretti.

I'm featuring similar accessories that you can purchase online too.  Have fun, be spontaneous and expressive, but above all be extradorinary!   xo, Kathleen
